What is PostScript?

Postscript is a page description language which was developed by Adobe Acrobat Systems in 1985. It is a programming language optimized for printing graphics and text or we can say it is used to specify how a page is to be printed or displayed. It has great feature to describe the shapes, size, position, graphics, fills etc for placing and formatting the text of any file. Post script also specifies how the file content looks but also tells the nature of the file's content as well. The text or content of postscript can be converted to any size. For instance, you can convert the size of postscript to a bi one like a billboard from the postcard sized postscript without any loss of quality and content. The file extension used for PDL( Post Description Language) or we can say Post Script is .eps or .ps. The main motive to introduce postscript was to make a language that can describe a image in device independent way.
Now convert PDF files to word, excel, postscript with PDF to word converter software and make documents secure and intact.
