Microsoft has introduced many applications till now, RTF also comes under this application. RTF encodes various document formats and text formats and structures like bold characters, typefaces etc. RTF is read is mainly read by all the word processing programs. Even the Emil clients, all operating systems, database applications can read be read RTF file format.
RTF is very easy to use application in any word processing programs and you can save the file in RTF format by just clicking the save as option from file menu. The very interesting thing to know about RTF is that it does not spread viruses. When RTF file is sent via email, you can ensure the receiver that no virus will be transferred to him and also formatting is almost preserved.
